One week after hitting season-highs in ratings and viewership, the NFL singleheader window put up another strong performance.
The Week 10 NFL singleheader window, featuring Vikings/Raiders in 27% of markets and Lions/Packers in 26%, drew an 11.6 final rating and 19.6 million viewers on FOX Sunday afternoon — up 9% in ratings and 13% in viewership from coverage on CBS last year (10.6, 17.4M) and down 5% and 3%, respectively, from coverage on FOX featuring Packers/Eagles or Panthers/49ers in 2013 (12.2, 20.2M).
The telecast earned the third-largest singleheader audience this season (ten total), trailing only the previous week (20.9M) and Week 1 (20.1M). FOX has aired the three most-watched singleheader windows and six of the top seven.
For the first time this season, the singleheader drew a higher rating and more viewers than NBC’s Sunday Night Football — edging Cardinals/Seahawks by 2% in the former (11.6 to 11.4) and 1% in the latter (19.4M to 19.2M).
