The Blackhawks are not the only NHL team setting ratings records.
Thursday night’s Capitals/Penguins game — won by the Capitals’ 6-3 — drew a 3.3 rating on CSN Mid-Atlantic. The 3.3 is the highest rating ever for a regular season Capitals telecast on the network.
The game peaked with a 4.2 rating during the 3rd period.
So far this season, ratings for Capitals games on CSN Mid-Atlantic are up 15%.
Elsewhere, the Sharks’ win over the Ducks drew a 2.1 rating on CSN California Thursday, the highest of the season. Ratings for that matchup peaked at a 2.6.
