Flores Leaving
- ESPN SportsCenter anchor Robert Flores announced Thursday that he will be leaving the network “in a few weeks.” The Big Lead reported his impending departure last month. Flores, who had been with ESPN since 2005, said he had been given the opportunity to join ESPN’s new SportsCenter AM show but wanted “more security, more creativity.” He did not name his new employer (The Big Lead named MLB Network and NHL Network as his destinations), but said it will announce his arrival next month.
