ESPN saw a spike in ratings for Tiger Woods‘ first interview since news of his marital infidelity broke late last year.
ESPN drew a 0.7 rating for the 7:30-7:45 PM portion of SportsCenter on Sunday, which featured Woods’ five minute interview with reporter Tom Rinaldi. The 0.7 was up 75% from a 0.4 for the previous quarter-hour of the show.
The 7:45-8 PM portion of SportsCenter, which coincided with the end of NCAA Tournament coverage on CBS, drew a 0.8.
