NBC saw an uptick in ratings for Sunday’s Red Wings/Flyers clash.
The Flyers’ win over the Red Wings drew a 0.8 final rating on NBC, up 14% from Wild/Red Wings last year (0.7), up 33% from Red Wings/Blackhawks in ’08 (0.6), but down 11% from regional action featuring Sabres/Flyers in ’07 (0.9).
Compared to Rangers/Bruins on March 21, Sunday’s game was up 60% from a 0.5.
Entering the Olympic break, NBC had drawn at least a 1.0 rating for four of its five NHL telecasts. Of the four games on the network since the Olympics, three have drawn less than a 0.9.
