The Stanley Cup Final is scheduled to take on the NBA Finals head-to-head for the second straight year.
Game 2 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 6 at 8 PM ET on NBC, the same night and time as Game 2 of the NBA Finals on ABC. Meanwhile, Game 5 of the series is set for Sunday, June 13 at 6 PM ET on NBC, the same night as Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Last year, Games 4 and 6 of the Stanley Cup Final aired directly opposite Games 1 and 3 of the NBA Finals.
This will also mark the second straight year that the Stanley Cup Final has begun with games on back-to-back nights. Game 1 is scheduled for Saturday, June 5 (8 PM NBC), with the aforementioned Game 2 taking place the next night.
Following Games 1 and 2 on NBC, Versus will air Games 3 and 4 of the series.
As mentioned earlier, Game 5 is set for Sunday, June 13 at 6 PM ET. Game 6 would air on Wednesday, June 16 and Game 7 on Friday, June 18, both at 8 PM.
This is a tentative schedule. Last year, the start of the Stanley Cup Final moved up by over a week because the Conference Finals ended early.
