Despite facing the Olympics, viewership for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction was virtually unchanged from last year.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony combined for 1.3 million viewers across ESPN and NFL Network Saturday night, down 1% from last year (1.298M to 1.287M) but up 17% from 2014 (1.1M).
ESPN in particular posted a 0.6 final rating and 839,000 viewers, the same as last year and up a tick and 17%, respectively, from 2014 (0.5, 718K). NFL Network drew 448,000, down 2% from last year (459K) and up 17% from 2014 (383K). Its 0.3 rating was unchanged from the past two years.
The actual Hall of Fame Game, which was to air on ESPN Sunday night, was canceled due to field conditions. ESPN scored 1.3 million viewers for a two-hour edition of Monday Night Countdown and 705,000 for two editions of SportsCenter.
