- With the Conference Finals ending on Monday, the NHL has moved up the start of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final. The Blackhawks/Flyers series will start on Saturday, May 29 on NBC, with the next four games on the following Monday (NBC), Wednesday (Versus), Friday (Versus) and Sunday (NBC). The Sunday game will air directly opposite either Game 2 or Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Games 6 and 7 (both on NBC) would take place on Wednesday, June 9 and Friday, June 11. (NHL)
- The NFL has awarded the 2014 Super Bowl to the New York/New Jersey area, marking the first time that the game has taken place in a cold weather city without a domed stadium. The game, which will air on FOX, will take place on February 2, 9 or 16. (NFL)
- ESPN2 will air live coverage of the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert on June 10. ESPN X Games host Sal Masekela, whose father will be performing during the concert, will anchor the network’s coverage. Highlights of the concert will air on June 11 in primetime on ABC.
