Despite a slight drop in ratings and viewership, the NFL singleheader put up solid numbers on CBS last weekend.
The Week 6 NFL singleheader window earned a 10.2 final rating and 17.2 million viewers on CBS, down 4% in ratings and viewership from last year on FOX (10.6, 17.9M) and up 9% and 12%, respectively, from 2014 on CBS (9.4, 15.4M).
The telecast ranks as the highest rated and most-watched singleheader on CBS this season (three telecasts) but only third out of six overall.
For the weekend, the singleheader ranked second among all NFL telecasts behind only the national window on FOX (15.8, 28.0M). It easily topped NBC’s Sunday Night Football (8.1, 13.6M), marking the first time all season it has had a larger audience than SNF and the second time it has had a higher rating.
