- Mike Leach: The former Texas Tech coach has been hired as a college football analyst for CBS College Sports Network. Leach will work alongside fellow newcomer Roger Twibell. (Fang’s Bites)
- Craig James: The ESPN college football analyst, who was involved in the controversy that led to Leach’s firing from Texas Tech, will not “be doing any Texas Tech games” this year, ESPN’s Mike Soltys told USA Today. - Kurt Warner: The former Cardinals QB has joined FOX as an NFL analyst. Warner will call games alongside either Chris Myers or Chris Rose, starting with the October 10 Saints/Cardinals game.
