Premier Boxing Champions delivered one of its best-ever overnight ratings.
The second edition of Premier Boxing Champions on CBS scored a 2.2 overnight rating Saturday night, up 22% from the network’s debut telecast last June (1.8). Compared the previous week’s PBC telecast on FOX, overnights increased 57% from a 1.4.
The 2.2 is the third-highest PBC overnight on any network in the two-year history of the series, trailing only the inaugural telecast in March 2015 (2.5) and a post-Olympic card last August (4.6), both of which aired on NBC.
Head-to-head, the PBC on CBS easily topped competing coverage of the NBA on ABC (1.3). It was, however, no match for the Duke-North Carolina college basketball game on ESPN (2.6).
