The Packers/Bears rivalry lifted ESPN to its best Monday Night Football overnight rating of the season.
ESPN drew an 11.6 overnight for the Bears’ win over the Packers, up 4% from Panthers/Cowboys in Week 3 last year (11.3), which was the Cowboys’ only Monday night appearance of the season.
The 11.6 overnight is the highest of the season for Monday Night Football, topping the previous high set one week earlier by Saints/49ers (10.6).
The ESPN telecast drew a 24.2 rating in Chicago and a 16.8 rating in Milwaukee.
The game was simulcast on local affiliates in both home markets, with Chicago independent affiliate WCIU drawing a 14.1 and Milwaukee ABC affiliate WISN drawing a 38.2.
