- FOX drew a 6.6 overnight rating for the Giants’ Game 4 win over the Phillies on Wednesday night. Overnights for last year’s Yankees/Angels Game 4 on FOX were not immediately available, but that game drew a 6.7 final rating. (Sports Business Daily)
- Phillies/Giants Game 4 drew a 23.3 rating in the Bay Area, the highest rating for any MLB telecast in the market in six years. In Philadelphia, the game drew a 29.8 rating, down a tick from last year’s Dodgers/Phillies Game 4 on TBS (29.9). (MLB press release via Fang’s Bites)
- Wednesday afternoon’s Game 5 of the Rangers/Yankees series drew an 12.9 rating in the New York market — down 25% from Tuesday’s primetime Game 4 (17.1), and down 38% from last year’s primetime Yankees/Angels Game 5 on FOX (20.8).
