Ray Lewis Finds Landing Spot at FS1
- Former ESPN NFL analyst Ray Lewis has joined Fox Sports in the same capacity, it was announced Tuesday. Lewis, who worked for ESPN from 2013-16, will serve as a contributor on the various FS1 talk shows and also appear on Fox Sports’ digital platforms. [Fox Sports]
Fox Sports’ DiCicco Passes Away
- Fox Sports soccer analyst Tony DiCicco, who was part of the lead broadcast team for the 2015 Women’s World Cup, passed away Monday at age 68. Prior to joining Fox Sports, DiCicco worked World Cup coverage for ESPN from 2003-11 and the 2000 Olympic women’s soccer tournament for NBC. [Hartford Courant 6.20]
NBC Assigns Track Analyst Boldon to NASCAR Coverage
- NBC Sports announced Tuesday that it will use track and field analyst Ato Boldon as a feature reporter on NASCAR coverage this season. Boldon will make his debut on the July 1 Daytona race, reporting on fan loyalty to drivers, before returning for later races from Bristol, Charlotte, Homestead, and a race to be named later.
