- CBS: The NFL national window, featuring Colts/Eagles, earned a 17.1 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, up 22% from last year, up 2% from 2008, and the highest overnight for an NFL telecast on CBS since 2007. Earlier in the day, the first game of Sunday’s doubleheader drew a 12.0 overnight up 8% from last year and up 24% from ’08.
- LSU’s win over Alabama on Saturday drew a 4.4 overnight rating on CBS, even with both last year and 2008. The game featured Nick Saban‘s second return to LSU since leaving the team; Saban’s first return in 2008 earned a 5.1 overnight.
- NBC: The Cowboys’ blowout loss to the Packers drew a 12.4 overnight on NBC Sunday night, down 13% from last year, but up 4% from 2008. The 12.4 is the third-lowest overnight for a Cowboys game on Sunday Night Football since NBC acquired the rights in ’06.
- FOX: The 10.8 overnight for Sunday’s NFL singleheader window marks a 6% rise from last year and a 14% jump from 2008.
- ABC: The latest edition of ABC’s Saturday Night Football earned just a 2.8 overnight rating, down 30% from last year, down 66% from 2008, and tied as the third-lowest overnight for a Saturday night game on ABC dating back to 2006. Earlier in the day, regional action featuring BCS-#1 Oregon earned a 3.6 overnight, down 5% from last year, but up 29% from ’08.
