More than halfway through its eight-game run of live NFL action, NFL Network has seen ratings and viewership improve for each game.
Thursday’s Colts/Titans game drew a 3.3 U.S. rating and 5.394 million viewers on NFL Network, up 18% in ratings and 19% in viewership from Week 14 last year (PIT/CLE: 2.8, 4.547 mil), and up 154% and 184%, respectively, from Week 14 in 2008 (OAK/SD: 1.3, 1.899 mil).
All five NFL telecasts on NFL Network have had double-digit increases in ratings and viewership.
Additionally, all five games have drawn at least a 3.0 rating and five million viewers. By comparison, just four of the network’s games all of last season hit those marks.
Through five telecasts, NFL Network is averaging 5.7 million viewers for live NFL action, up 38% from last year (4.1 mil), and the net’s highest average through five games since it began airing NFL games in ’06.
