Overnight ratings rose by more than a quarter for the Week 15 edition of Sunday Night Football on NBC.
The Patriots’ win over the Packers earned a 15.2 overnight rating on NBC Sunday night, up 28% from Week 15 last year (MIN/CAR: 12.0), but down 1% from Week 15 in 2008 (NYG/DAL: 15.4).
The 15.2 overnight is tied as the sixth-highest of the season for Sunday Night Football (sixteen telecasts).
Despite the increase, Sunday’s telecast fell behind the NFL national window on CBS (NYJ/PIT: 16.8). This marks the fourteenth time in fifteen weeks that SNF has trailed the national window in the overnights.
Milwaukee (44.5) was the top market, followed by Boston (42.6). Providence, RI (32.2), Minneapolis (21.8) and Baltimore (19.6) rounded out the top five.
