ESPN NBA analyst Jalen Rose has been removed from the network following his early March DUI arrest.
Rose, who admitted being over the legal limit when he was arrested on suspicion of DUI March 11, will not appear on ESPN while he deals with his legal situation, an ESPN spokesman told USA Today Friday.
Though he was arrested on March 11, Rose did not inform ESPN until March 26. That was the same day, ClickonDetroit.com, the website of Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV, reported on the story.
The last prominent NBA analyst to be arrested on DUI charges was TNT’s Charles Barkley two years ago. Barkley took a leave of absence from TNT that lasted over a month.
