Olbermann to Co-Host PTI
Former ESPN
SportsCenter anchor
Keith Olbermann will co-host
Pardon the Interruption this week, the
New York Post reported Friday. Olbermann, who had a famous falling out with ESPN in 1997 only to return as host of an eponymous ESPN2 talk show from 2013-15, will host opposite
Tony Kornheiser on Thursday and
Michael Wilbon on Friday.
Olbermann’s PTI gig is just the latest in a run of recent appearances on ESPN. He has also recorded a handful of SportsCenter segments and served as a guest on Outside the Lines. Since leaving ESPN for the second time in ’15, a departure that was not nearly as acrimonious as his first, he briefly hosted an online political show for GQ. [NYP 2.23 via Awful Announcing 2.23]
