- Stanley Cup on NBC: NBC earned a 1.0 final rating and 1.529 million viewers for Coyotes/Red Wings Game 2 on April 16, flat in ratings and up 5% in viewership from last year (BOS/BUF G2: 1.0, 1.450M). The next day, Capitals/Rangers Game 3 drew a 1.1 and 1.639 million viewers on the network, down 15% and 19%, respectively, from last year (PHX/DET G3: 1.3, 2.013M).
- MLB on FOX: The third edition of MLB on FOX, featuring Mets/Braves in 45% of TV markets, earned a 1.5 final rating and 2.292 million viewers on April 16, down 6% in ratings and 2% in viewership from last year (NYY/LAA*: 1.6, 2.344M). The telecast not only hit a season low in ratings and viewership, but became the season’s first FOX telecast to have a decline from last year.
- PGA Tour on CBS: CBS drew a 1.2 final rating and 1.796 million viewers for final round coverage of the Texas Open on April 17, down 8% in ratings and 2% in viewership from last year (1.3, 1.840), when the event took place in May. Third round coverage on April 16 drew a 0.9 and 1.289 million viewers, up 13% and 21%, respectively, from last year (0.9, 1.068M).
