Mexico delivered another strong World Cup audience, even in a morning timeslot.

Telemundo’s telecast, which peaked with 5.0 million viewers from 11:15-11:30 AM ET, had a streaming audience of 787,000 viewers. That is the largest streaming audience ever for a World Cup match. The combined TV and streaming audience was 5.2 million.
The match had 2.2 million viewers on FOX, up 6% from Argentina-Nigeria on ESPN in ’14 (2.0M). Those figures include pre-match coverage. Adding in the streaming audience on Fox Sports GO, the match had 2.4 million.
Combined, Telemundo and FOX generated 6.2 million TV viewers (including pre-match coverage).
In the same window, South Korea-Germany had 1.0 million on FS1 and 1.2 million with streaming included. Figures for the same match on Universo were not available.
In other action, FOX earned 2.6 million for Brazil-Serbia Wednesday afternoon, including the streaming audience on Fox Sports GO. Figures for the same match on Telemundo were not available.
On Tuesday, Argentina-Nigeria had 3.0 million across FOX and FSGO (2.6 million on FOX alone) and 2.85 million on Telemundo and its streaming counterpart.
