Former ESPN Exec Joins Amazon
Former ESPN executive Marie Donoghue has joined Amazon to oversee the company’s sports programming, according to reports in The Information and The Hollywood Reporter. Donoghue ran some of ESPN’s most prominent creative efforts during her tenure with the company, including ESPN Films, Five Thirty Eight and Grantland. ESPN Extends Taylor
ESPN has reached a contract extension with studio host and college football sideline reporter Maria Taylor, the company announced Tuesday. Taylor will continue in her current roles working the sidelines on ESPN’s lead college football team and hosting the network’s women’s college basketball studio programming. She will also be part of a rotation of hosts taking Michelle Beadle‘s vacated position on the morning show Get Up!, a move that was announced last week. [ESPN PR 8.28]
Wiley Officially Joins Fox
Former ESPN SportsNation co-host Marcellus Wiley has officially joined Fox Sports, where he will co-host the network’s talk show Speak For Yourself.
