The penultimate game of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals hit a series-high in viewership on Versus.
The sixth game of the Bruins/Lightning series earned a 1.0 U.S. rating and 1.681 million viewers on Versus Wednesday night, the most-viewed game of the series. There was no comparable game either last year or in 2009.
Bruins/Lightning drew almost twice as many viewers as the final game of the Canucks/Sharks series the previous night.
The Canucks’ double-overtime, series-clinching Game 5 win over the Sharks earned a 0.6 and 872,000 viewers on Versus Tuesday night, down 57% and 63%, respectively, from 2009 (CHI/DET G5: 1.4, 2.324M). There was no comparable game last year.
