On the latest edition of the show, host T.J. Rives and Jon Lewis (aka “Paulsen”) of SportsMediaWatch.com fame are back to discuss the latest topics in U.S. Sports media.
This includes the quickly rising phenomenon of the Manning brothers on ESPN2’s “Manning-cast” alternate broadcast of Monday Night Football. However, the increased audience is all about to cease, as the Mannings won’t be on the next few Monday nights. So, Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Lewis Riddick will have the audience to themselves starting with the Raiders at the Chargers for next week.
Then, the guys talk some College Football and specifically, the draw of Notre Dame Football, which pulled in a really solid 5 million viewers for a noon Eastern time broadcast on Fox Sports. Why do the Irish draw so well, whenever they are on?
Jon also has thoughts on the WNBA and it’s rising ratings at the lower level, as their playoffs continue this week.
And of course, we play some “Love it or Leave it?” with Jon on subjects like the Ryder Cup and Halloween decorations in September.
