- NFL Network may have lost its highest rated game ever, but the network’s other exclusive telecasts this season have seen increasing ratings. Led by Cowboys/Packers on November 29, seven NFL telecasts on the NFL Network have averaged a 7.1 cable rating, up 31% from last year. Viewership has increased by 48%, with a 55% increase among men 18-49.
- From the no surprise department, the 4-23 Minnesota Timberwolves are far from a television draw. Four of the Wolves’ first eight games on FSN North drew less than a 1.0 rating, and the Wolves’ loss against the Miami Heat on December 17 drew slightly more than 3,000 households. By comparison, Minnesota Wild games on FSN North averaged a 2.6 rating through the first seventeen games.
- When it comes to television ratings, the New York Knicks are outpacing the New Jersey Nets. The last time the two teams met, on December 15, the Knicks’ MSG broadcast drew a 1.1 rating, 266% higher than the 0.3 rating the Nets drew for their YES broadcast.
