Despite mixed numbers last week, ABC’s college football coverage is up double-digits so far this season.
ABC averaged a 3.7 rating and 5.730 million viewers for regular season college football coverage through Week 7 of the season, up 16% in ratings and 12% in viewership from the comparable point last year (3.2, 5.125M).
Last week’s lone telecast on ABC, an afternoon regional window featuring #6 Oklahoma State/#22 Texas, earned a 3.8 final rating and 5.587 million viewers — up 6% in ratings but down 2% in viewership compared to last year (TEX/NEB*: 3.6, 5.670M).
The ABC regional window was the highest rated and most-viewed college football telecast of the day.
