Breaking down the Bears schedule
After qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in five years, the Bears will try and make a Super Bowl run this year with QB Caleb Williams, RB D’Andre Swift and WR Rome Odunze. The team is slated to play five games on prime time television this season, beginning in Week 3 at Soldier Field for a “Monday Night Football” tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bears appear in three consecutive prime time games between Week 7-9 before the Week 10 bye.
The Bears return to the Thanksgiving Day slate for the first time since 2024 and will take on the rival Detroit Lions to begin the day at 1 PM ET on CBS. The team will also play in the standalone Week 15 Saturday prime time window CBS acquired from inventory the league received through its equity deal with ESPN. One week later, the Bears face the rival Green Bay Packers to commence the Christmas Day doubleheader on Netflix.
