Completely agree with everyone about figure skating on American TV. It’s pathetic and pitiful . Dropping Olympic channel and cutting the NBC airing to a minimum is shameful. I

    Peacock only keeps recorded events available to watch for 2 days. It is a VERY bad deal, but the only option we have to see all the events.

Miss the olympic channel for figure skating and other winter sports. prefer the shating teams events pairs and dance short and long priograms. also juniors to see the up and commers. also commentators drown outr the music with thieir blah blah.

I’m a long time figure skating fan. First time using Peacock. The Peacock coverage of the ISU Grand Prix has been excellent with the exception of the videography for the Cup of China Exhibition. Couldn’t watch it.

The commentators have been excellent. More professional than Tara and Johnny. 😄

  I agree 100%. I just don’t understand why Johnny and Tara feel the need to talk all the way through a skaters performance. I would like to enjoy the performance with the music if they would just keep their comments unti AFTER the performance.

I agree with all the comments here: Peacock provides no commentary, which is central to enjoying figure skating. The Grand Prix series for 2023 is primarily on Peacock, effectively destroying the viewing experience for this sport. There’s very limited coverage with commentary on USA, E!, and NBC, but that’s all I’ll be watching this season. Extremely disappointed not to have the Olympic Channel or NBC Sports any more.

I only got peacock because I was told I would be able to view figure skating. Dishonest and greedy. I am going to get rid of it.

I can only stream free channels. I cannot afford to pay for subscriptions, so you have taken a lot of enjoyment away from me.
I avidly follow figure skating, short track skating, skiing, and track and field. Apparently since you put money above supporting our athletes and no longer care about viewing audiences we seniors no longer can view what we enjoy!!

As like everyone else I am disappointed figure skating is on Peacock. USA , E, NBC & they only show the long programs with not a total recap of the short programs. Senior Citizens enjoy figure skating. Being on a fixed income Seniors cannot afford to purchase Peacock.
Watching figure skating on Peacock is not enjoyable. It is more interesting with the comments from Terry Gannon, Johnny Weir & Tara Lupinski. Bring it back to NBC.

Ive been a skating fan for a long time and am very dissappinted that it isnt on regular tv. I have several streaming services but not Peacock, which i have no plans of subscribing to! Shame on you NBC!!

I absolutely agree with Patty!
Bring back the Olympic channel!
Besides being unaffordable to the average viewer, the streaming experience is cold and sterile!
I LOVE lying on my couch and watching magnificent figure skating
on my analog t.v. ( I still use the converter box as do more Americans than you know!)
On the computer, it feels like I’m still at work, too, and it’s not fun.
We need sports on regular t.v.
for entertainment and the wellbeing of everyone!!!!!!!

Talk about disappointment!——taking away the Olympic channel is shameless!…..it had such great coverage of sports. We got to see ice skating’s short performances as well as the long programs. I am a HUGE watcher of competitive ice skating—-& have been for 50+ years. Think of the people with modest resources—one of their most affordable entertainment s is TV….regular channels. They don’t have the means to pay extra for premium access to viewing sports on TV. I am a person of faith & instead of saying SHAME ON YOU, I’ll pray that God touches your hearts & minds to think about the people with limited resources of viewing TV & bring back the Olympic channel.

nbc biggest mistake was to get rid of nbcsports and olympic channel, now in us we can’t watch figure skatng, biathalon, sledding sports, or any of the olympic sports. how is the younger generation going to want to try this sports and become future olympic atheltes for the us if can’t see them on tv.

I can’t put into words how disappointed I am with NBC and PEACOCK which was touted as being so great. We should be supporting our Olympic sports all year, every year. You have taken it away from us. The Olympic channel was my most watched channel because I could follow our athletes on a regular basis. First you started taking some of the sports away, then you get rid of the channel all together. I now have access to Peacock but am very disappointed with what disappointed with what is available. Just because you can’t make the big bucks off of the Olympic athletes, you choose to deprive those of us that prefer them over the so-called pro sports. It is shameful!

Very frustrating to watch the figure skating, not everybody has peacock tv. Also when NBC showed the skating they would only show one day, just the long programs. I love to watch the short programs & also the pairs & ice dancing.

Sorry most of the skating is on Peacock this year. Even though I have Peacock, the shows are streaming live, and can’t be recorded. Because I am unable to watch all times, I will miss most of them. Sad to miss skating this year.

2022 was fine, but the dates and days for 2023 don’t match the 2023 calendar. For instance you show the US Championships starting on Wednesday, January 26, but January 26, 2023 is a Thursday. Everything after that is a off too. Not sure whether to go by the day of the week or the number when figuring out when to watch.
