Breaking down the Saints schedule

The Saints struggled out of the gate last season, but closed relatively strong to finish 6-11. The highest-profile game of the Saints’ season by far is a Week 4 “Monday Night Football” game against the Falcons, timed to mark the 20-year anniversary of the team’s first game back in New Orleans — against the same opponent in the same Monday night window — after Hurricane Katrina. New Orleans has one other standalone game, facing the Steelers in Paris on NFL Network in Week 7.
