Breaking down the Raiders schedule
After leading Indiana of all teams to the college football national championship, superstar rookie Fernando Mendoza may have an even more arduous task trying to lead the Raiders back to relevance. Las Vegas finished just 3-14 last season and has not won a playoff game since making it to the Super Bowl in 2003. Mendoza and Kirk Cousins will battle it out for the starting job this season, meaning that it is unclear exactly when and how much the rookie will play.
The Raiders have zero standalone windows scheduled for 2026, but with their usual slate of 4:25 PM ET games and high-profile opponents like Kansas City and the Rams, it is not out of the realm of possibility that they will play to a national audience at some point during the year.
