Breaking down the Steelers schedule
Aaron Rodgers is back for what he says will be his final season as the Steelers try to build on last year’s Wild Card playoff loss. Pittsburgh is entering a new era under Rodgers’ former coach Mike McCarthy, who replaced longtime coach Mike Tomlin (now of NBC) in the offseason.
Pittsburgh opens the season with three-straight 1 PM ET windows before making its primetime debut in Week 4 against the Browns (“Thursday Night Football”). Their remaining primetime games are all in the latter half of the season when flex scheduling is enabled, including Week 10 against the Bengals on “Sunday Night Football,” a Week 13 playoff rematch against the Texans (“Sunday Night Football”) and Week 14 against the Jaguars (“Monday Night Football”). Their schedule also includes the league’s annual Black Friday game against the Broncos on Prime Video, and a standalone International Series game against the Saints from Paris in Week 7.
