Breaking down the Chargers schedule
The Chargers boast a high-profile coach in Jim Harbaugh and QB Justin Herbert, but solid regular season results have yet to translate into postseason success. Los Angeles last won a playoff game eight years ago and has been eliminated in the Wild Card round in back-to-back seasons.
It will take until Week 10 before the Chargers play in a standalone window this season, facing the Ravens on “Monday Night Football.” That is the first of three primetime games this season, all backloaded in the final weeks of play, including a playoff rematch against the Patriots in Week 12 (“Sunday Night Football”) and a “Thursday Night Football” matchup with the 49ers.
