Breaking down the Seahawks schedule
After missing the playoffs in the 2024 season, it is safe to say the Seahawks rebounded in 2025, finishing with the best record in the NFL and ultimately winning the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2013 “Legion of Boom” squad. Seattle begins its title defense with a Super Bowl rematch against the Patriots in Week 1, the first season-opening Super Bowl rematch in a decade (Panthers-Broncos).
The Seahawks are not back in primetime again until Week 6, the first of a run of three-straight primetime windows — Week 6 against the Broncos on “Thursday Night Football,” Week 7 against the Chiefs on “Sunday Night Football,” and Week 8 against the Bears on “Monday Night Football.” Seattle also has a primetime matchup with the Cowboys in Week 13 (“MNF”) and a Christmas night NFC Championship rematch against the Rams on FOX, plus the usual slate of 4:25 games, several of which it can be assumed will be sent to the majority of markets.
