Turner Sports hit a three-year high in ratings and viewership for coverage of the PGA Championship. In other news, the Royals came close to yet another ratings record, and the Dodgers are on a record pace on Fox Sports Prime Ticket.

PGA Championship Hits 3-Year High on TNT

  • Coverage of the 2013 PGA Championship averaged a 1.2 U.S. rating and 1.6 million viewers on TNT, up 50% in ratings and 54% in viewership from last year’s coverage, which aired opposite the Olympics (0.8, 1.0M). According to Turner Sports, this year’s tournament ranks as the highest rated and most-viewed on TNT since 2010. (Turner Sports)

Royals Earn Second-Best Rating on FSKC

  • Monday’s Marlins/Royals Major League Baseball game drew an 11.2 rating on Fox Sports Kansas City, the network’s second-highest Royals rating ever. Only Red Sox/Royals last Thursday drew a higher rating (11.4). So far this season, Royals games have averaged a 6.3 rating on FSKC, up 64% from last year. (Nielsen)

Dodgers Hit Record Pace on FS Prime Ticket

  • Also Monday night, the Mets/Dodgers game earned a 4.3 rating on Fox Sports Prime Ticket — the network’s second-highest Dodgers rating of the season. Dodgers games have averaged a 2.6 rating on FS Prime Ticket this season, on pace to set a network record. (Nielsen)
