- Ratings are up virtually across the board for the NBA on ESPN. Through 23 games, ESPN is averaging a 1.2 rating, up 4% from last year. Ratings in the men 18-34 and 18-49 demographics are up 34% and 20%, respectively. Even KIA NBA Shootaround has seen its ratings increase 12%.
- ESPN was the most watched network in all of television on Monday night, thanks to Bears/Vikings. Monday Night Football drew a 9.5 cable rating with 11.3 million viewers, just one of sixteen MNF games that have finished in the top 20 most watched cable programs of the year.
- NFL Network drew a surprisingly good rating for a mediocre match-up. Texans/Broncos last Thursday drew a 5.5 cable rating, meaning 5.5% of the households with access to NFL Network tuned into the game. The 5.5 cable rating was not far off the 6.7 cable rating that week’s Monday Night Football game drew on ESPN.
