Game 2 of the World Series helped FOX to a second-place finish in prime time on Thursday night.
In prime time (8:30-11 PM), the Rays’ series-tying win over the Phillies drew a 9.2/14 overnight rating, compared to a 10.7 overnight in prime time for last year’s Rockies/Red Sox Game 2.
Game 1 averaged a 9.4 rating in prime time.
Overall, FOX averaged an 8.0/13 rating in prime time (8-11 PM) Thursday night, behind CBS, which drew an 8.8/14.
Prime time ratings peaked at 10:30 PM with a 9.9/16. Ratings increased during every half hour of game coverage, and likely continued to do so after 11 PM.
