In a week of strong ratings for college football bowl games, Notre Dame proved that it is still a decent draw.
Notre Dame’s victory over Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl, the first bowl game victory for the program in over a decade, drew a 2.6 national rating and 4.4 million viewers on ESPN Christmas Eve, making the game the highest rated Hawaii Bowl ever.
Compared to last year, the 4.4 million viewers marks a 119% jump from the 2.0 million who watched ECU/Boise State.
