Not surprisingly, ratings dipped in Pittsburgh and Detroit for Tuesday night’s Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Penguins’ victory over the Red Wings drew a 26.1 rating in Pittsburgh and a 15.1 in Detroit, marking the lowest rating of the Stanley Cup Finals in both markets. Games 1 and 2 averaged a 29.1 in Pittsburgh and a 23.7 in Detroit.
Despite the lower numbers, Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals made Versus the highest rated network (broadcast or cable) during its time period in both markets.
National ratings for Game 3 are not yet available.
