- FOX drew a 1.4/4 final rating for last Saturday’s regional MLB coverage, featuring Dodgers/Padres. The 1.4 marks a 53% plummet from a 3.0/8 for Yankees/Mets on the comparable date last year. This marks the 8th time in 10 weeks that MLB coverage has failed to draw a 2.0 rating on FOX.
- Thursday’s Giants/Padres game was the highest rated Giants telecast on Comcast Sports Net Bay Area in nearly two years. The Giants’ 9-3 victory drew a 5.2 rating on CSNBA, the highest rating for a Giants telecast on the net since the August ’07 Nationals/Giants tilt in which Barry Bonds‘ set the all time home run record. - Sunday’s IRL Camping World Grand Prix drew a 0.9/2 final rating on ABC, the same as the overnight, and down 10% from last year’s 1.0. Entering its final IRL telecast of the season, ABC is averaging a 1.6 for four races, down 11% from a 1.8 for the comparable four races in ’08.
