Final round coverage of the Buick Open drew a 4.0/9 overnight on Sunday, up 167% from a 1.5/3 last year, and the highest overnight for the event since ’06. The 2.4 for third round coverage on Saturday was up 140%.
Ratings improved for the Women’s British Open. Final round coverage drew a 0.8 overnight rating on ABC Sunday, up 33% from a 0.6 last year. Despite the increase, the 0.8 is tied as the second-lowest for final round coverage of the event since it became an LPGA major in ’01.
