For the third straight week, The T.O. Show saw an increase in viewership.
The August 3 episode of The T.O. Show drew 1.8 million viewers on VH1, up 38% from 1.3 million viewers for the July 27 episode, and up 50% from 1.2 million for the July 20 debut episode. The 11:30 PM encore episode drew 961,000 viewers.
The show ranked as the third-most viewed program of the week on VH1.
While The T.O. Show finished tied as the 469th most-viewed program of the week on cable, the 1.8 million viewers compares favorably to most sports programs on cable, topping the average viewership for NBA and MLB regular season games on ESPN.
Additionally, the 1.8 million viewers for The T.O. Show nearly doubled the 965,000 viewers who watched Jim Rome is Burning on ESPN earlier that day. In fact, the 1.8 million for The T.O. Show topped every edition of Jim Rome is Burning, Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption that aired from August 3-9.
Overall, 25 episodes of The T.O. Show (1 new episode, 24 repeats) drew a cumulative 12.7 million viewers on VH1 from August 3-9.
