For the second time in ’09, the Philadelphia Phillies set a ratings record.
Wednesday’s Phillies/Cubs tilt, featuring Pedro Martinez‘ Phillies debut, drew a massive 11.1 rating on Comcast SportsNet — the highest rating ever for a Phillies game on the network.
Ratings peaked at a 13.3 at 9:15 PM ET.
The 11.1 eclipses the previous record of 10.6, set earlier this year by another Phillies/Cubs game. So far this season, Phillies telecasts are averaging a 6.6 rating on Comcast SportsNet, up 25% from last year.
