- Curt Menefee: The NFL on FOX host will fill in for Nick Charles on Showtime’s ShoBox: The Next Generation boxing telecasts through the end of the year. Menefee begins this Friday. Charles is suffering from bladder cancer.
- Bobby Valentine: The former Rangers and Mets manager has officially rejoined ESPN as an MLB analyst. Valentine, who previously worked for ESPN in 2003, will start during the MLB League Championship Series. In 2010, Valentine will contribute to ESPNNewYork.com and will also serve as an analyst for MLB Division Series games on ESPN Radio.
- Charissa Thompson: The sideline reporter, late of Best Damn Sports Show Period and Shaq Vs., has joined Versus as a rinkside reporter for NHL telecasts. Thompson will start this Thursday, covering Capitals/Bruins alongside Joe Beninati and Andy Brickley.
