- ESPN averaged a 2.3 U.S. rating and 3.6 million viewers for its Opening Week college football coverage, up 28% and 34%, respectively, from a 1.8 and 2.7 million last year. Meanwhile, ESPN2 averaged a 0.8 rating and 1.14 million viewers for its Opening Week coverage, up 14% in ratings and 8% in viewers from a 0.7 and 1.05 million last year (ESPN).
- The season premiere of ESPN’s College Gameday drew a 1.5 U.S. rating and 2.1 million viewers on ESPN Saturday morning, up 25% in ratings and viewership from a 1.2 and 1.7 million for last year’s show. (ESPN)
