Just two weeks into the season, the Blackhawks have already set a ratings record on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
Wednesday’s Oilers/Blackhawks game drew a 2.70 rating (94,000 HHs) on CSN Chicago, the highest regular season rating ever on the network. Ratings peaked at a 3.3 (115,000 HHs) from 8-8:15 PM CT.
Through Wednesday, CSN Chicago is averaging a 1.55 rating for Blackhawks telecasts, up 63% from last year. Ratings for the pregame show are up 34%, and ratings for the postgame are up 331%.
