Game 3 of the NLCS did not make much of a dent in the ratings on Sunday night.
The Phillies’ 11-0 blowout win over the Dodgers drew a 3.7 overnight rating on TBS Sunday night, down 45% from a 6.7 overnight for Game 3 between the same teams last year on FOX. Compared to last year’s ALCS on TBS, the 3.7 overnight was up a tick from a 3.6 for Red Sox/Rays on a Monday afternoon.
The 3.7 for Game 3 is also down 30% from a 5.3 overnight for Game 1 of the series on Thursday night.
In Los Angeles, which does not have an NFL team, Game 3 was outrated head-to-head by Sunday Night Football (8.4 to 7.3).
