The National League Championship Series got off to a solid start on TBS Thursday night.
Game 1 between the Phillies and Dodgers drew a 5.3 overnight rating on TBS, down 12% from a 6.0 for last year’s Game 1 between the same two teams on FOX.
Compared to past League Championship Series to air on TBS, Phillies/Dodgers Game 1 was up 4% from a 5.1 for Red Sox/Rays Game 1 last year, and up 33% from a 4.0 for Rockies/Diamondbacks Game 1 in ’07.
The Phillies’ win drew a massive 28.8 in Philadelphia, up 21% from a 23.9 for Dodgers/Phillies Game 1 last year. In Los Angeles, the game drew an 11.3 rating, up 20% from a 9.4 last year.
