After two straight weeks of strong numbers, overnight ratings declined for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Sunday’s Bears/Eagles tilt drew a 12.1/19 overnight rating, off 10% from Cowboys/Washington in Week 11 last year (13.5/20), and down 20% from Patriots/Colts last week (15.1/24).
The 12.1 overnight is the lowest for Sunday Night Football since Cardinals/Giants in Week 7 (10.4). That game aired opposite Game 6 of the Yankees/Angels ALCS.
On a more positive note, the 12.1 is also the third-highest overnight for SNF since Week 2, when Giants/Cowboys drew a 16.5.
Sunday’s game drew a 29.6/43 in Chicago and a 27.2/39 in Philadelphia. Las Vegas was the top neutral market, drawing an 18.9/29.
