Florida’s domination of Florida State drew a 5.1 overnight on CBS Saturday, up 21% from a 4.2 for Auburn/Alabama on Thanksgiving Weekend last year.
Compared to past Florida/Florida State games, Saturday’s blowout was up 28% from last year’s matchup, which aired regionally on ABC (4.0) and up 21% from the ’07 game, which began at 5 PM ET (4.2).
The 5.1 overnight is the second-highest of the season for a college football game on CBS, behind only a 6.8 for a primetime Florida/LSU game in October.
