Embattled golfer Tiger Woods took one last hit before 2010.
AT&T is ending its 11-month relationship with Tiger Woods. “We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future,” an AT&T spokesman said in a statement Thursday.
The move comes after a tumultuous past month for Woods, beginning with a car accident on the day after Thanksgiving, and culminating in revelations that he has engaged in extramarital affairs.
Earlier in the month, Accenture also ended its relationship with Woods, while Gillette announced that it would scale back Woods’ presence in their advertising. Woods is currently on a leave of absence from the game of golf.
